Backrow Connect (“Backrow,” “we,” “us”) operates this ticketing platform to sell tickets and run our live events. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using this platform you agree to the practices described below.

The short version: we only collect what we need to sell you a ticket, deliver it, get you through the door, and support you afterwards. We do not sell your data. We run on our own servers and keep your information for as long as the law and our event records require.

1.Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:

  • Account details — name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password.
  • Order and ticket data — events and items purchased, ticket tiers, quantities, QR ticket records, transfer and check-in history.
  • Delivery information — your structured address (street, township, city, state/region) when an order includes physical tickets or merchandise, plus your chosen delivery method (email or Telegram).
  • Payment confirmation data — the mobile-wallet transaction reference and amount used to verify your payment. We do not store your wallet PIN, card numbers, or full banking credentials.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic security/audit logs needed to operate the service and prevent abuse.

2.How We Use Your Information

  • To process orders, verify payment, and issue your tickets.
  • To deliver tickets by email or Telegram, and to arrange courier delivery of physical items.
  • To check you in at the event and prevent duplicate or fraudulent entry.
  • To provide customer support, refunds, transfers, and waitlist services.
  • To send transactional messages (order confirmations, password resets, event updates).
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and keep audit records.

3.Payment Processing

Payments are made through mobile-wallet apps using MMQR. Your payment takes place inside your own wallet app. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction reference and amount in order to match it to your order. We never see or store your wallet login, PIN, or card details.

4.How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the service:

  • Email delivery (Resend) — to send your tickets and account emails.
  • Telegram — only if you choose Telegram as your ticket delivery method.
  • Couriers — your name, phone, and address when a physical item must be delivered.
  • Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by applicable Myanmar law or a valid legal request.

5.Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on infrastructure we control. We protect it with measures including encrypted passwords, HMAC-signed single-use tickets, restricted staff access governed by role-based permissions, rate limiting and account lockout on login, audit logging, and regular encrypted off-site backups. While we work hard to protect your information, no online system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

6.Data Retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for our event records, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account; we may retain limited records where required for finance or fraud-prevention purposes.

7.Your Rights & Choices

  • Access, update, or correct your account information at any time from your profile.
  • Request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
  • Choose how you receive tickets (email or Telegram) and manage saved addresses.
  • Opt out of non-essential messages; transactional messages (e.g. order confirmations) are required to provide the service.

8.Cookies & Sessions

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, secure your session, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9.Children

The platform is intended for adults able to attend our events. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Some events may carry their own age restrictions.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
